Principal Financial Analyst
Former CFO turned educator, passionate
about making financial analysis accessible
to everyone who needs it.
Experience That Counts
I spent twelve years as CFO for mid-market
companies before realizing my real passion
was teaching others to read financial
stories. There's something deeply
satisfying about watching someone's face
light up when they finally understand how
working capital affects cash flow.
My background spans manufacturing, retail,
and tech startups. Each industry taught me
different aspects of financial analysis,
from inventory management impacts to
subscription revenue patterns. This
variety shows up in our curriculum —
you'll see examples from multiple sectors,
not just textbook scenarios.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe in learning through exploration
rather than memorization. Sure, you need
to know the ratios, but more importantly,
you need to understand when they matter
and when they don't. A current ratio of
1.5 might be healthy for a retailer but
concerning for a software company.
